Super Eagles Coach, Jose Paseiro says his major target is winning the next African Cup of Nations.

The next African Cup of Nations holds in Ivory Coast next year.

Coach Paseiro made this known during one of the Nigeria professional football league, NPFL, match day seven between sunshine stars and visiting Niger Tornadoes of Mina at the Akure sports complex.

Speaking with our sports reporter, former Venezuela and Saudi Arabia coach said he was in Nigeria to impact the senior men’s national team positively for overall success.

While commenting on the Nigerian professional football league coach Paseiro said the current league had improved on all sides and promised to watch more matches at other stadia with the aim of discovering some potentials.

He also described players in the league as talented calling for improved welfare and infrastructure across various stadia in the country.

At the end of the ninety minutes, Sunshine stars defeated Niger Tornadoes by 2-0 and the Owena Whales will next face Dakkada FC in Uyo.
