Adhoc staff of INEC deployed to Ibadan North Local Government are still stranded at their take-off point at Immanuel College  High school premises along Samonda- U.I road.

Radio Nigeria observed that the Adhoc staff was still expecting vehicles to convey them and the election materials.

It was however observed that some decided to board a tricycle to convey theirs after being tired of waiting.

 A similar situation is recorded at Unit 20 ward 5, Egbeda Local Government where Adhoc are still awaiting vehicles and security escort for the conveyance of election materials.

At some units visited including Ibadan SW,  Ibadan North East and Akinyele, eligible voters were seen checking for their names on the voter’s list. 

While some Adhoc staff had already settled down for business, some others were just arriving at the polling centres.

Radio Nigeria correspondents monitoring the situation also sighted on their way some commercial vehicles conveying election materials to their various centres.

Security personnel including the Nigerian Army, Police force, and NSCDC, were sighted strategically positioned  keeping an eagle eye on the metropolis

Members of the Nigerian Redcross society were equally setting up their stand in case of emergency.

Meanwhile, some youths have turned the Ojoo road into a soccer pitch as they were seen playing football
