The announcement of Saturday’s presidential election results from Oyo state is underway at the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC state office in Agodi Ibadan.
The collation of the thirty-three local governments in the state has been concluded while the Oyo State collation returning officer who is the vice-chancellor, the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Professor Olusola Kehinde and his team are synergizing, getting ready for the announcement.
Our correspondent reports that security is tight in and around the INEC office while political parties, local and international observers, the media as well as other stakeholders were anxiously waiting to hear Saturday’s presidential election results from Oyo State.
Recall that the Oyo State collation centre resumed its process on Monday (today) morning when the last three local governments’ results were collated.
