Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly Ogundoyin cast his vote a few minutes ago at Ward 2, Unit 5, Ajisafe Anko Area  Ibarapa East Local Government.

The speaker, who was welcomed by a crowd of supporters and townsmen described the conduct of the election as a boost for democracy.

According to him,” You can see that the people are excited and they look forward to a peaceful end to this elections. So far so good, there’s no violence “.

Meanwhile, there was a lull in the turnout of voters at Igboora,, Ibarapa Central, as about 15 per cent of registered voters had so far cast their votes.

Some of the voters attributed the apathy to cash rigours which people were subjected to in recent times.
