Christians have been reminded to fully utilize this Christmas period to extend love to one another and to the less-privileged in society.
Reverend Lawrence Adika of Molete Baptist Church, Challenge, Ibadan stated this during a sermon to mark this year’s Christmas celebrations.
Reverend Adika was of the opinion that without the extension of love Christmas celebration was incomplete.
In a message, the Pastor-in-charge, Molete Baptist Church, Reverend Edward Alabi, said all Christians while celebrating Jesus who is the reason for the season, must also emulate Him through doing good deeds and being charitable to the others.
Reverend Alabi urged Christians to not only celebrate the birth of Christ but also his death and resurrection.
Members of the congregation, who were well dressed for the serviced appreciated God for making them witness another Christmas despite the economic downturn in the country.
