The newly adopted national anthem is a motivation for everyone to work together in building a great nation for the benefit of all citizens.

Ogun State director of the National Orientation Agency, NOA, Mrs Olufunke Salako made the remark while addressing students of Lisabi Grammar School, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta.

Mrs Salako said the adoption of the new national anthem by President Bola Tinubu was a clarion call on Nigerians, regardless of ethnic, religious, or political affiliations, to work towards a better nation. 

Commending the young population of the people for responding favorably to the appeal for unity, service, and patriotism, Mrs Salako said more efforts would be geared towards promoting greater civic engagements to revitalize the sense of national identity in the people.

She advised the students to always carry out their civic duties diligently and stand for the truth at all times.

Also, the principal of Lisabi Grammar School, Mrs Titilope Odutayo described the newly adopted national anthem as a symbol of peace and unity, urging the students to heed the message and embraces the advice contained in the nation anthem.

Speaking on behalf of the students, Miss Oyinkansola Bamgbose expressed gratitude to the agency, and gave assurances that the lessons learnt would be put into practice by the students.
