Osun State Council of Obas has appealed to the federal government to fix the Ibadan-Ife-Ilesa Express Road.
They made the appeal in a communique issued during its monthly statutory meeting held in Osogbo, under the chairmanship of His Imperial Majesty the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
They described the Ibadan-Ife-Ilesa Express Road as a death trap that claims lives daily.
The council noted that the road is one of the major federal roads in the southwest which links several states in the zone together.
They called on the federal government under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu to intervene quickly and fix the road as a matter of urgency.
