The Federal Government has launched a 250 – Housing Unit tagged “Renewed Hope Estate in Osun State”.

This is in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu to stimulate inclusive growth, lift 100 million Nigerians out of Poverty,and Build a $1 Trillion economy.

At the ground breaking of the housing unit recently in the state, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Architect Ahmed Dangiwa said the housing units were designed to make them affordable for people to acquire by using organic materials to allow for future expansion as the income of beneficiaries increases.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Development urged the contractors to ensure that they build according to specifications.

He emphasized that government would not tolerate sub-standard work from any developer and explore all necessary legal means, to ensure that they delivered according to specification.

Architect Dangiwa appreciated the President’s vision and the political will required in delivering decent and quality housing to Nigerians across the Nation. “I want to appreciate and thank His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Adeleke for promptly granting our request for the provision of land at no cost “

Also Speaking, the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Alhaji Tijani Gwarzo noted that The 250 – Housing Units Estate Projects would create job opportunities during the construction phase for masons, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians,traders and suppliers of building materials.

In a remark, the State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, represented by the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi noted that the citing of the project in Osun State and other states of the federation was to bridge the housing gap and promote economic growth in all regions of the nation.

“By citing this project in Osun State as it is been done in other States President Tinubu has demonstrated his resolved to Bridge the housing gap and to promote Economic Growth in all regions in the Country “.

Senator Adeleke urged Stakeholders to work together to ensure the successful Completion of the project to serve as a model for future generations.
