The Oyo State House of Assembly, OYHA, has approved the appointment of a former lawmaker who represented Saki West State Constituency, Mr Femi Okedoyin as the new Chairman of the House Service Commission. 

This followed the reconstitution of the board by Governor Seyi Makinde.

The Governor in a letter dated 23rd July, 2024 and read on the floor of the House submitted the name of Mr Julius Okedoyin as Chairman of Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission.

Lawmakers in their submissions commended the Governor for appointing Mr Julius Okedoyin and other members of the board.

They described him as a former member who understands the workings of the State House of Assembly. 

Also during plenary, member representing Ido constituency in a motion called for urgent renovation of some rural roads between Ido and Akinyele local governments
