Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq has commended residents of the state for opting for peace and harmony.
In a statement by his spokesman, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor AbdulRazq appreciated the people of the state for shunning the temptation to repeat ugly history.
The statement said the peace in the state is a true reflection of who the people of the state are.
The statement advised residents of the state not to do anything that will bring violence, or lead to loss of lives and properties.
The statement acknowledges the wisdom of the people of the state who chose the option of positive engagement, safety, peace, and harmony.
