The Vicar, St Thomas’s Anglican Church, Isinkan Akure, Venerable Olu Akinboro has urged organisers of the ongoing hunger protest to sheath their sword and allow for dialogue with the Federal Government.

Venerable Akinboro in an interview with Radio Nigeria in Akure expressed confidence in the power of dialogue rather than protest.

The clergyman condemned reports of killing, looting and harassment trailing the hunger protest in the northern parts of the country, urging the protesters to suspend the action while government looked into their demands.

Venerable Akinboro called on President Bola Tinubu to listen to the cries of Nigerians and come up with more policies that would ease the pains of the reforms embarked upon by his administration.
