Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has identified good roads as the only infrastructure that can connect the hinterland and aid transportation of agriculture produce from farmlands to the urban areas.
Governor Adeleke stated this when he visited traders in Ajegunle Market in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The governor explained that to prevent capital flight from the state, his administration has been engaging local contractors in the ongoing projects in the state.
He said he is following his 5-point agenda in fulfilment of the promises he made during election campaign in 2022.
While calling for continued collaboration of all traders in Ajegunle with government, Governor Adeleke said his administration is operating an open-door policy encouraging people of the state to visit his office for meaningful discussions on ways to develop the state.
Earlier, the chairman, Ajegunle Traders Association, Alhaji Kamardeen Abdulazeez had commended Governor Adeleke for the developmental projects in the state urging him not to relent in the good governance policies.
Alhaji Abdulazeez assured the support of traders in Ajegunle market towards the successful tenure of the present administration.
