Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to prioritizing road infrastructure to ensure better connectivity and accessibility across communities in the state.

During the commissioning of three township roads in Ado, the State Capital, Oyebanji explained that 16 road projects were currently underway across various local councils.

Governor Oyebanji emphasized that the completion of the roads was in fulfilment of his campaign’s promise to improve access and exit routes within the capital city and other parts of the state.

The Ewi of Ado, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe, commended Governor Oyebanji’s performance, stating that it demonstrates his readiness for the role, urging him to maintain the momentum, and encouraging residents to adopt a maintenance culture, particularly by avoiding the dumping of refuse in drainage systems.

The roads inaugurated include the reconstructed Jimoh Aliu/Adewumi Road, HMB Road, and Ilamoji/Oke Ala Basiri in Ado Ekiti.
