…Award Community Head for Philanthropy

Radio Nigeria Ibadan will continue to remain the flagship of broadcasting with up-to-date information dissemination leveraging its wide reach.

The Zonal Director, Radio Nigeria Ibadan Zonal station, Mr Dominic Mokikan stated this while presenting an award of the philanthropist of the year to the Baale Odigi-Gbogbo Village in Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State, Chief Muhammed Abdulazeez.

The award which was presented by Radio Nigeria Ibadan was in recognition of Chief Abdulazeez’s immense contributions to the development of odigi-Gbogbo community and humanity

Mr Mokikan who highlighted Radio Nigeria’s unique strength to include professionalism, wide reach and quality programming pledged the corporation’s resolved to provide quality broadcasting that meets the yearnings of its audience.

Reacting, the award recipient, Baale Odigi-Gbogbo in Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo state, Chief Muhammed Abdulazeez appreciated Radio Nigeria Ibadan for the gesture, promising to consolidate on his achievements in making life better for residents in his domain.

Chief Abdulazeez also appealed to sons and daughters of Ibadan land to support developmental projects and help the less privileged in Ibadan.

He said Odigi-Gbogbo Community would continue to enjoy peace considering the efforts put together by the association of Baales in Ibadan.
