Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has inaugurated the Abuja Branch of the Ekiti Development Committee, urging members to actively promote and defend the state’s interests.

During the event held at the Ekiti State House in Abuja, Governor Oyebanji highlighted his administration’s focus on collaboration and partnerships for the state’s progress.

He thanked the committee members for their readiness to use their influence to benefit Ekiti, emphasizing the need for securing key federal positions for Ekiti indigenes to boost infrastructure and human capital development.

The Governor also updated the committee on his efforts to engage federal ministries and agencies in supporting Ekiti’s growth.

The committee, chaired by Mr. Remi Olatunbode and comprising Ekiti indigenes who are Directors in various Federal Ministries and Agencies, held its inaugural meeting shortly after the event.
