Peaceful coexistence paves way for development

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, wants Residents of the state to maintain peaceful coexistence and support the present administration to pave way for more social and economic development policies.

Senator Adeleke made the appeal during the inauguration of some Community Social Development Agency, CSDA, supported projects In Ife Central, Ife East , Ede North and Ede South Local Government areas of the State.

Represented by the Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Professor Ademola Adeleke, the Governor said the Successful execution of the Projects was achievable due to peace which exists in the Communities.

The Governor expressed the readiness of the Government to ensure the Execution of more projects across the nooks and crannies of the State, as long as the Administration enjoys more support from Residents.

“We call on residents of the community to continue supporting the government and allowing peace to reign.”

Also, In a remark, The State Commissioner for Rural and Community Development, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa said in less than two years since inception of the present administration, in conjunction with the CSDP has excuted about 1000 projects in some communities across the State.

In her address, the General Manager of Osun State Community and Social Development Agency, CSDA, Mrs Funmi Abokede who emphasized that the projects aimed to improve healthy living and living standards of people in the communities, urged members of the Communities to ensure proper maintenance and judicious use of the various projects.

Mrs Abokede “ The Community contributed 5 per cent while CSDA contributed 95 per cent to execute the projects”

In separate interviews, Two Representatives from the Communities; Mr. Lawal Adebayo and Imam Moshood Babatunde said the facilities would go a long way in easing the stess being experienced by Residents in the various communities

Radio Nigeria Correspondent reports that, The projects inaugurated included; Motorised boreholes, Maternity Centers, School Hall and VIP toilets.

The facilities were constructed in Communities, including; Molodo, Sabo, Ile – fifun, The Apostolic Church,TAC, Grammar School in Ife Central and Ife East Local Government Areas.
