Commissioner of Police in Oyo State Mr. Shina Olukolu has confirmed the release of four staff of the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, OYSCATECH, In Igboora and other who were abducted.

This is contains in a statement signs in Ibadan by Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi.

The statement noted that the police swungs into action immediately with tactical teams, comprising of Anti Kidnapping Squad and Special Anti Robbery Squad to secure the release of the victims and eventually arrest the hoodlums.

It notes that the suspects surrendered when they could no longer withstand the superior fire power of the police.

Also in the statement, victims who were abducted on Thursday have been united with their families unhurt during their stay with the suspected kidnappers.

It states further that Commissioner of Police, Mr. Shina Olukolu appreciates the patience and understanding of the OYSCATECH authorities and community while the unfortunate ordeal of the victims lasted.

The statement reiterated the command’s resolve to continue rejig the security architecture for maximum protection of lives and property of the people of Oyo state.

It adds that the Commissioner of Police sternly warns the crime elements to relocate from Oyo state as the command is battle ready to crush them for disturbing the relative peace and tranquility being enjoyed in the state.
