Wife of Ogun State Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun has received three hundred and forty packets of soap from a manufacturer as part of measures to curb the spread of Covid- 19.
Receiving the items, Mrs Abiodun said the soap would be distributed across the three senatorial districst of the state to encourage the residents to wash their hands regularly and promote personal hygiene.
The wife of the Governor, who was represented by a Chest Physician from the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, OOUTH, Sagamu, Dr. Bolanle Adefuye said handwashing among other measures was key to contain the spread of the disease.
Mrs. Abiodun also highlighted other measures to include keeping social distance, not picking the mouth or nostrils, covering the mouth when coughing and sneezing into the elbows.
The Director, Corporate Affairs and Sustainable Business, Mrs. Soromidayo George, said it was necessary to support Ogun state government in its efforts to contain the spread of the disease and show care to the people.
