Officials of NNPC have confirmed that the Premium Motor Spirit, PMS spill which has caused residents of Aba pan, and Elebu area to panic is as a result of pipeline vandalism.
An official who craved anonymity said the vandals had successfully installed three industrial valves on the pipeline with which they used in siphoning the product.
Some years back, a pipeline along the route was vandalised by unscrupulous people.
It was observed that the spot of vandalism is about 100 meters away from a police station.
