A mobile Magistrate court presided over by Mr. Jide Ilo has sentenced sixty-seven persons to four hours of community service for violating the COVID-19 stay home order by the state government. 

Those convicted were among the one hundred and three suspected violators arrested around Lafenwa and Ita-Oshin areas of Abeokuta by the security taskforce which included the police, Vehicle Inspection Officers and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC.

The magistrate, Mr. Jide Ilo also handed out fines of one and two thousand naira to thirty-three other persons while three persons were discharged. 

Those convicted that could not pay for fine were ordered to sweep, pick refuse and cut grasses for four hours.
