Members of the Oyo State House of Assembly has confirmed the nomination of Justice Aderonke Aderemi as the President, Customary Court of Appeal, Oyo State.
The House also confirmed the appointment of Alhaji Kamorudeen Aderibigbe as the Chairman, Oyo State Civil Service Commission.
The confirmation of Justice Aderemi followed a letter of nomination by the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde and screening exercise conducted by the lawmakers during its plenary.
The Speaker of the House, Mr Adebo Ogundoyin charged them to discharge their duties passionately and bring the desired change in their respective assignments.
In an interview, Justice Aderonke Aderemi promised to introduce policy that would extend the jurisdiction of the Customary Court with a view to assisting the High Court in dispensation of justice considering their volume of work.
