Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta has recorded another two cases of coronavirus.
A statement by the hospital’s head of public relations and information, Mr. Segun Orisajo explained that one of the two patients, a forty three year old trader from Ota had however died before the outcome of her samples result.
Mr. Orisajo said the patient was being managed for decompensated chronic liver disease and covid-19 before her death.
The hospital spokesman further explained that the second patient was a forty year old man on referral from Joga Orile Primary Health Centre .
He said the patient was being managed for sepsis with a chest focus before he was screened with his samples returning positive.
Mr. Orisajo said the patient had been taken to the isolation centre and has sustained clinical improvement.
