The Transition Chairman of Ifo Local Government, Ogun State, Mr. Fola Salami says Lockdown officials involved in the assault of a lady at Ojodu Abiodun Area of the council have been suspended without pay until further notice.
The transition Chairman said the viral video came to him as a rude shock when one of the lockdown officials claimed they were enforcing the lockdown order with gross inhumane attitude.
The transition Chairman said the attitude of the officials does not portray the human nature known with Ifo local Government and ordered the arrest of the culprits.
The chairman assured the public that all hands are on deck to ensure justice and deal decisively with those found guilty in the incident.
