The Chairman, Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State, Mr Teslim Ogunmola, has imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew on Ejigbo following the killing of two residents of the town within the last four days.

Some residents of the community, Mr Olukunle Ajayi and Mrs. Adeola
Mustapha explained that the victims were killed in their homes within
a week.

The residents expressed fear over the development, believed that
ritualists might be responsible for the killings.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the
state, Mrs Yemisi Opalola, explained that two victims were killed in
their homes at Oya and Oloya Compounds and a suspect, Bamidele
Aboderin had been arrested in connection with the murder in the
ancient community.

The PPRO allayed the fear of the residents, announcing that the state
Police Commissioner, Mr Undie Adie, had directed full-scale investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killings.

Mrs Opatola said a 50-year-old, Musibau Muraina was killed with his
intestines exposed while the other victim Misratu Azeez, 45, was injured
on the forehead.
