The Commissioner of Police in Ondo State, Mr Bolaji Salami has pledged that his command will make this year’s Eid-el-Adha celebration a crime-free one across the state.
In a Sallah message signed by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Tee-Leo Ikoro, the police commissioner also wished Muslim faithful in Ondo state a peaceful celebration.
Mr Salami said that it was his conviction that a good ceremony happens only when there is peace and tranquility in a society; and this could only take place when people stay out of crimes.
He said the Police Command under his supervision would not wait to see any crime or sacrilege, especially during this period without dealing with it in accordance with the dictate of the laws of the land.
