Oyo State House of Assembly has received three requests from the Executive on matters geared towards moving the state forward. 

In a letter from the Executive, read during the first live streaming plenary of the Oyo Assembly, presided over by the Speaker, Mr Adebo Ogundoyin, the Executive requested the screening of Barrister Idowu Oyeleke as commissioner to replace Mr Kehinde Ayoola who died on the 14h of May this year. 

The House directed the commissioner nominee to submit sixty copies of his credentials to the office of the clerk before tenth of this month. 

Other requests by the executive were the proposed bill on the Establishment of Oyo Development Agency for Socio Economic and Advancement, OYODASA, and an Executive extract on Oyo Prosperity Bond of 100 billion naira to further stimulate infrastructure development in the state. 

The bond is expected to cater for Ibadan Inland Dry Port, Ibadan Airport upgrade, Circular Road, upgrade of hospitals in three senatorial districts and construction of Iseyin-Ogbomoso road. 

Deliberating, the lawmakers though had different opinions, urged the Executive to make judicious use of the bond to develop the state.
