Ogun State House of Assembly, OGHA, wants the Ogun State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure and the Ogun State Public Works Agency to put palliative measures on the failed portions of Lagos-Abeokuta road especially at the Sango Garage.
The Speaker of the House, Mr Olakunle Oluomo, who made the request at the plenary while responding to the submission of some lawmakers under personal explanation on the affected roads in their constituencies, also called for the rehabilitation of the Ijaye Gbangba and Iporo Ake Bridges in the Abeokuta South I State Constituency.
Mr Oluomo also requested the private sector operators in the axis to emulate their colleagues along Papalanto-Ewekoro road by contributing their quota in the provision of palliatives through Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR.
The speaker said the rehabilitation became imperative to ensure seamless human and vehicular movement on all road corridors of Ogun state.
