Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has inaugurated chairmen and members of boards and parastatals with a call on them to initiate positive policies and programmes for the overall development of the state.

The governor urged the new appointees to see their appointment as a call to selfless service.

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who stressed the need for the new appointees to introduce more initiatives towards promoting good governance, urged them to collectively and individually work assiduously towards adding value to their respective boards. 

The governor advised them to make probity their watchword and be prudent in the management of both human and material resources at their disposal. 

Governor Abiodun also maintained that the leadership experience of the new appointees would be needed not only in the fight against COVID-19, but to cushion the effects of the pandemic on the people of the state.

In a remark, the Chairman, Ogun State Housing Corporation, Chief Yemi Sanusi, thanked the governor for giving them the opportunity to serve, and called on other appointees to justify the confidence reposed on them by performing their duties diligently.

The ten boards and parastatals for which they were inaugurated are Ogun State Housing Corporation, Ogun State Health Management Board, Ogun State Agro Services Corporation, Ogun State Bulk Purchasing and Ogun State Agric Multi-Purpose Credit Agency.

Other boards are Ogun State Market Development Board, Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, Ogun State Alternate Medicine Board, Food Crops Marketing Board and Ogun State Waste Management Authority.
