Poll: IGP Orders Restriction on Movement of Vehicles in Ondo

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adams has ordered restrictions of vehicle movement in Ondo State from midnight today to six ‘ o clock in the evening on tomorrow, Saturday. 

The order is part of efforts by the force to ensure effective coordination of public order and safety during the gubernatorial election.

A statement by the Force public relations officer, DCP Frank MBA says the vehicular restriction order is also aimed at preventing political actors and trouble makers from freely engaging in unpatriotic acts. 

The IGP enjoins the citizens to bear with any inconvenience arising from the restriction order noting that it is part of necessary sacrifices to nurture and sustain democracy in the country.
