A new Zonal Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, ACG Fasiu Adeyinka, has been posted to Osun State.
A statement by the spokesman of the NSCDC, Osun command, Adigun Daniel, Says the development follows the creation of seven new zonal commands.
The development placed Osun as the zonal headquarters for Zone J.
The Zone J includes Ekiti, Ondo and Osun States.
The statement adds that with the new zones, the NSCDC now has total of fifteen zones throughout the country for administrative convenience and improve on service delivery.
The new Commander, Mr Fasiu Adeyinka promised to ensure adequate security of lives and property especially critical national assets and infrastructure within his jurisdiction.
