Nigeria Police, Ogun State Command has arrested four herbalists for allegedly defrauding a woman, Imoleayo Ashade of one million three hundred and ten thousand naira at a fraudsters den in Ijebu Ode.

Exhibits recovered from the fraudsters den by the police included a box containing various denominations of fake currencies, charms and money fraudulently collected from the last victim.

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Edward Ajogun who took newsmen round the fraudsters den, said the arrest was made with collaborative efforts of the Awa-Ijebu Police Division and members of OPC and vigilantes in the area.

The victim, Imole Asade said the journey took her a week and some months, saying that she once assisted two men among them with accommodation at her family house but was lured to the hideout when they promised to return the favour by rendering spiritual financial assistance.

On his parts, the Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor on Security, (RTD), AIG Olushola Subair, who also accompanied the CP to the hideout, said the fraudsters were going to be dealt with according to the law.
