Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Mrs Ngozi Onadeko has sought for synergy with NSCDC to collectively reduce criminality in the state.
Mrs Onadeko stated this when during a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Oyo State Command Headquarters Agodi Ibadan.
The Commissioner of Police, who was accompanied by some of her Management team said the visit became imperative in the spirit of securing lives and properties of the people of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
She said the collaboration NSCDC would go a long way in nipping crime in the bud.
The police commissioner, therefore, promised to always be available whenever security assistance is needed.
Responding, NSCDC Commandant, Mr Iskilu Akinsanya who appreciated the visit of the Commissioner of Police, assured a continuous support as that was the only way to successfully curb crime and criminality in Oyo State and Nigeria as a country.
Commamdant Akinsanya added that the visit would boost the morale of the men of the two agencies and would also send signal to the junior officers to see themselves as brothers and partner in progress.
