Ilora Kidnapping: Cleric Regains Freedom

A Cleric, Rev. Toyin Aderinola has regained his freedom after spending six days in the kidnapper’s den.

Rev. Aderinola who is also an Entrepreneur was abducted Tuesday night at the site of his event center which is still being developed along Ilora – Imini  in Afijio LCDA.

According to family source, the kidnappers later called with the victim’s phone to demand for one hundred million naira ransom but Radio Nigeria could not ascertain how much, if any, was paid.

Confirming the release, Police Area Commander, Durbar Oyo Area Command, Mr. Kadmiel Madayi said the victim walked into freedom early yesterday morning and that the case is still being investigated.
