Unknown Gunmen Kill Six at Wasimi, Osun

Six people have been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen during an attack on Wasinmi village in Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State.
Radio Nigeria gathered that the gunmen invaded the village in the early hours of Sunday and started shooting indiscriminately on the villagers.
In an interview, Spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, Mrs Yemisi Opalola confirmed the attack and the killing of six people.
Mrs Opalola said the Commissioner of Police, Mr Wale Olokode had visited the scene of the incident.
Meanwhile, the Osun State Government has condemned the killing, urging the police to unravel those behind the dastard muder.
The state Deputy Governor, Mr Benedict Alabi who led the government delegation to condone with the family said everything possible shall be done to bring the perpetrators to Justice.
