Hundreds of Members of Christian Association of Nigeria,CAN, Oko , Surulere Local Government areas of Oyo have stormed the premises of Radio Nigeria Ogo-Ilu FM to pray for the upliftment of the station.
The visit was part of activities of the Christian Association Palm Sunday procession.
Chairman of the Association, Reverend Thomas Kolade said their presence at the broadcasting station was to pray for Radio Nigeria, Oko community, Surulere Local government, Oyo State, Nigeria as a whole for peace and unity to reign.
The cleric also prayed for Radio Nigeria to retain it’s pride of place as flagship of broadcasting.
Welcoming the Christian body on behalf of the management, Head of Engineering Services, Ogo-Ilu fm, Engineer Femi Olakanmi thanked them for the gesture and gave assurance that Radio Nigeria would always strive to uplift the people and unite the nation.
The People in their numbers marched round the nook and crannies of Oko chanting “Hosannah” to the Lord.
