Christians Observe Covid-19 Protocols During Palm Sunday Celebration in Ibadan

The customary procession usually held by christians to mark the palm sunday was today not held in Ibadan.
our correspondent who went round the metropolis reports that the suspension of the carnival-like procession was in adherence to the covid-19 protocols but however some churches displayed the palm fronts with cross sign in their premises and inside the cathedral.

In the same vein, the priest in charge of St Mathias Anglican church, Orogun ibadan, Venerable Samuel Olawoyin, admonished political leaders to see themselves as God’s vessels and rule with fear of God.
Pastor Timothy Adeniji of Great Nation House, Sango, Church advised nigerians to discard the temptation of ethnic separation saying there is blessing in unity.
Pastor Adeniji also called on political gladiators not to heat up the polity.
