Kidnapped Seriki’s Son Rescued in Osu

The son of Seriki Hausawa in Iyere Town, Osun State, Usman Haruna, who was kidnapped in Osu has been rescued by the police.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Osun State Command, Mrs Yemisi
Opalola in an interview with Radio Nigeria said no ransom was paid for his
release, stressing that the victim is currently receiving treatment
in an undisclosed hospital in the state.

According to the report, only Usman was kidnapped against the rumor
that two other people were abducted alongside him.

It will be recalled that Usman was kidnapped on Friday in Osu along Ilesa-Ife expressway and a ransom of 50 million naira demanded by his
abductors.
