Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has called on Nigerians, especially residents of the state, to embrace peace, love and unity as the world celebrates Easter.
In his Easter message, Governor Abiodun urged Nigerians to avail themselves of what the resurrection of Jesus Christ symbolizes and live in peace.
Governor Abiodun, who noted that Nigeria was facing some challenges, implored people to emulate the love Jesus Christ showed while being crucified, in order to lift the country to a greater height.
He pointed out that the resurrection of Jesus had indeed shown that the country had a great hope to become a powerful nation and
expressed optimism that Nigeria would regain its position among the comity of nations.
While wishing Christians a wonderful Easter celebration, the Governor urged them to continue to pray for the country to overcome socio economic challenges.
