Nigeria Army Pledges to Improve Security Architecture in Ogun
The New Commander, 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala Abeokuta, Brigadier General Adewale Adekoya has promised that the Nigeria Army will continue to intensify efforts towards improving the security architecture in Ogun State.
Brigadier General Adekoya, who stated this during a visit to Governor Dapo Abiodun at Oke Mosan Abeokuta, said the military would support other law enforcement agencies to maintain peace in the state.
He also expressed the readiness to work with the state government towards ensuring the implementation of formidable security plans.
Responding, Governor Dapo Abiodun said his administration would continue to place a high premium on the issue of security equally and urged the new Commander to engender peace and security in the state.
The Governor explained that many initiatives were being put together to stem the tide of kidnapping and all forms of crimes in the state and called for more collaborations towards protecting lives and property across the state.
