A Stakeholders’ meeting to prepare an action plan and consequence management framework for the national ethics and integrity policy of the federal government has been held in Ibadan the oyo state capital.

traditional rulers, religious leaders, corps members, media guru,women groups ethnic groups and political office holders and youths were able to draw a communique at the end of the one day meeting.

On 19th August 2020,federal executive council appeared the National ethics and integrity policy to spell out ethical conduct of the Nigeria citizenry.

The policy, a brainchild of independent corrupt
Practice commission and other related offence commission, ICPC,was co-sponsored by the office of the secretary to the government of the federation and national agency of Nigeria NOA.
In line with the action plan of the policy, it was agreed at the federal executive council held in Abuja meeting that the program be done at state and at the local government levels.
Welcoming the participants ICPC chairman prof Bolaji Owosanoye represented by one of the board member, Olubukola Balogun said every Nigerian had a great role at implementing the policy.

Religions leaders at the event,Amirah,Federation of Muslim women Association of Nigeria, Alhaja Busurat olosho and a Christian Association of Nigeria representative Apostle Joshua Akinyemi urged parents to inculcate good virtues into there children.

The youth urged the elderly ones to be good examples to them

The acting zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan zonal station, Mrs Bolanle Owoyemi identified that self worth,integrity patriotism as factors needed to move the nation forward.

Earlier, the Oyo state Director, National Orientation Agency, Mrs Folake Ayoola urged the participants to collaborate with the agencies to make the policy succeed.

Highlight of the programs was the distribution of handbooks on National ethics and integrity policy Written in Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo in Ibadan.
