The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Usman Baba says all existing vehicle tinted window permits duly issued by the Nigeria Police Force remain valid.

The clarification is contained in a statement signed by Police Spokesman, Mr Frank Mba in Abuja.

According to the statement, the clarification was necessary following the recent suspension on the issuance of tinted vehicle windscreen permits across the county.

Mr Mba said the suspension which was a temporary measure, would remain in force pending the release of a new protocol that would regulate the issuance of tinted permits for vehicle owners and operators in the country. Net
