Barely forty-eight hours following the formal handover of the Asaba International Airport to a private body by the Delta State government, have residents raised concerns over the hasty arrangement with the firm which was established a year ago on October, 2020.
They made their views known while reacting to the development in Asaba, the state capital.
Oghenero Eghweree reports that the citizens also questioned the motive behind the over five billion naira spent on upgrade of the facility in 2018, before the government announced its intention to concession the Asaba International Airport.
