Some clerics in Ibadan have advocated intensive prayers to God as well as total independence of the nation’s electoral umpire as the panacea to the current crises confronting the nation.

The clerics who stated this while speaking to Radio Nigeria on the way out of the current crises in Nigeria said divine intervention coupled with political freedom of the citizens would enable Nigeria to overcome it’s numerous challenges.

One of the clerics who is also the Regional Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, C.A.C, Oyo and Osun state, Johnson Ogunwuyi bemoaned lack of freedom of the masses to elect the right leadership.

Speaking in the same vein, Zonal pastor C.A.C, strong tower, Akanran, Olu Oluwaniyi, said security personnel in the country should remain patriotic while discharging their duties and fish out hidden rebels who compromised the corporate objective of the force.

During an intense prayer for Nigeria at the Agbowo branch of the Gospel Faith Mission International, Agbowo, Ibadan, the Assembly pastor, Daniel Jimoh said the condition of a nation would either positively or negatively affect the faith of an individual, hence, the need for all and sundry to pray for the security and economic stability of their fatherland.
