The Department of State Services has released eight out of the twelve aides of the Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly called Sunday Igboh.
They were released on Monday afternoon after sixty one days in detention.
Speaking with the media after their release,The lawyer of the aides, Pelumi Olajengbesi, gave the names of the released detainees as Abdullateef Onaolapo, Tajudeen Irinloye, Dikeola Ademola, Ayobami Donald, Uthman Adelabu, Olakunle Oluwapelumi, Raji Kazeem and Taiwo Tajudeen.
The freed aides were said to have appeared at a media briefing with their lawyer.
It was gathered that the DSS is yet to release Amudat Babatunde, Abideen Shittu, Jamiu Oyetunji, and Bamidele Sunday on the ground of their culpability in the alleged stockpiling of arms and other criminal activities levelled against their boss, Igboho.
They released aides were said to have met their bail conditions, including the provision of 24 sureties.
