Staff of Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Abeokuta have formally welcomed the reappointed Medical Director of the centre, Professor Adewale Musa Olomu.
The staff in their hundreds with uniforms, carried different banners with the pictures of the medical director to congratulate him on his triumph over those that worked against his being reappointed at the centre.
The in-house unions also arranged bands which led the Medical Director in a motorcade from the main road into the hospital.
The Medical Director, Professor Musa Olomu who ended his first term in office in June this year had been petitioned by some members of staff of the centre concerning issues the he claimed had been resolved before his appointment at the hospital.
Professor Olomu in defense of the allegations, said the petitioners were part of a syndicate whose illegal activities at the hospital he stopped.
Some of the hospital staff while speaking with newsmen said they were celebrating the reappointed due to the performance of the medical director during his first term in office.
