The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says it has received sensitive materials ahead of the forthcoming Isoko South State Constituency bye-election this Saturday.

The Delta State Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Mr. Monday Udoh-Tom, made this known while receiving the items at the Central Bank of Nigeria headquarters in Asaba, the state capital.

Mr. Udoh-Tom noted twelve political parties have been accredited to participate in the process out of fourteen groups which earlier indicated interest for the by-election.

The materials were received in the presence of stakeholders including the political party agents, before they were transferred to the INEC zonal office in Isoko South ahead of the polls.
