SA to Oyo state Governor on Islamic affairs, Alhaji Imam Abdulrasheed Abdulazeez has commended members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the peaceful conduct of the party’s ward congress in the state.
Speaking at his ward 8, Inalende area of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alhaji Abdulazeez specifically congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde for creating a level playground which translated to the peaceful conduct of the ward congress.
While expressing satisfaction and delight over the ward congress, the Governor’s Aide also applauded party faithful for their orderly manner during the exercise.
“The People’s Governor, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde has once again demonstrated his strong belief in a true democratic process at all levels by creating an enabling atmosphere for the peaceful conduct of the ward congress”
“I salute His Excellency’s courage and love for peace, the success of the ward congress is another notable achievement of Governor Makinde”.
“I also commend members of the party in the peaceful way they behaved themselves during the exercise”.
In another development, Imam Abdulazeez has congratulated the Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja on the occasion of his 77th birthday.
The SA to the Governor on Islamic affairs described High Chief Ladoja, a former Governor of Oyo state, as an exemplary leader, both in the political and traditional circle.
