In order to cushion the prevailing effect of unemployment in the country, an agriculturist, Mr. Olanrewaju Olufemi has called on Nigerian youths to key into the farming system to make them self-reliant.

Speaking with Radio Nigeria, Mr. Olanrawaju observed that farming, especially fruit and crop productions were vibrant and viable parts of agriculture that had not been maximized.

The pomologist, while highlighting the advantages of fruit crops, identified Pineapple planting as a very lucrative business.

Mr. Olanrewaju urged the youths to be self-employed and reliant as there are no white-collar jobs in the country from the government to serve the taste of Nigerian graduates who are being churned out in various higher institutions of learning.
