Muslims have been urged to use this opportunity of the birth of Prophet  Muhammad to offer special prayers for unity, stability and economic growth of the country.
This is contained in a Maolud message in Ibadan by Osi Basorun of Ibadanland and Oyo  State Governorship aspirant in All Progressives Congress, Dr Azeez  Adeduntan.
Dr Adeduntan enjoined Nigerians regardless of faiths to use this festive period to pray for the nation to overcome the current socio-economic crisis in the land.
He enjoined Muslims to imbibe the injunctions of Prophet Muhammad, which teach humility, gratitude and charity towards one another and to also lend helping hands to the needy in the society; especially during this period of high cost of living.
“Indeed, NIgerians are facing hard times, apart from insecurity, banditry and threats of secession”.
Oyo State Governorship aspirant admonished leaders in the country to emulate those special qualities of Prophet Muhammad which were responsible for the successes he recorded which still reflect in the lives of Muslims till date.

The Harvard trained and certified International cardiovascular Surgeon, enjoined Muslims to celebrate the event with optimism and unflinching hope that a better tomorrow awaits the country and assured residents of the State that a brighter and better Oyo State is possible come May 29, 2023.
