Politicians have been advised to see politics as a call to service in order to deliver more dividends of governance to the people.
A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Michael Ale stated this while featuring on an audience participatory programme known as political space on Radio Nigeria Premier 93.5 FM.
He noted that governance should go beyond jamboree and implored political office holders to uphold the tenets of good governance through selfless service
Mr. Ale who noted that lots of demands on politicians might cause distractions for them admonished citizens not to relent in reminding them of their electoral promises
Mr. Ale who is also a development practitioner, project development and implementation expert frowned at indiscriminate drilling of boreholes in the nation and called for regulations on the part of the government
The project developer called on expert in borehole drilling business to be professional while carrying out their official duties.
